Nature Preserve Understory Planting
Join the TREE Committee of Take MAR (More Action for Regeneration) for a day of environmental action and community involvement at Folly Farm Nature Preserve!
Date and Time: March 16th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Location: Folly Farm Nature Preserve, 1562 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N., Safety Harbor, FL 34695.
Project Details:
We'll be focusing on planting native trees and shrubs in the preserve's wetlands and uplands, while also engaging in invasive plant removal to restore the ecosystem's balance.
What to Bring:
Please come prepared for a day of outdoor activity! Bring a reusable water bottle (we'll have water available on-site), sunscreen, a hat, gardening gloves (though we'll provide them if needed), and comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for outdoor work.
This event is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible difference in our community's environmental health while connecting with like-minded individuals. Let's work together to make Tampa Bay greener and more resilient for generations to come!
