What began with a few neighbors planting trees along the Pinellas Trail has grown into something bigger than we could have ever imagined. From those early, hands-in-the-dirt moments, it became clear the community was ready, and the place itself was calling, for something more. The Sunline is our response: a bold, community-powered vision to transform the trail into a vibrant eco-social corridor. Inspired by projects like the Atlanta Beltline and the Miami Underline, but rooted right here in St. Pete - The Sunline reimagines the Pinellas Trail as a living thread that connects people, neighborhoods, nature, and possibility.

This transition marks a natural evolution. While seeded through Take MAR, the scale and vision of this initiative now call for space to grow on its own - to welcome new partners, pilot projects, and carry this vision forward with focus.
